Zimbabwe’s general election is taking place today, with one woman among the 11 candidates running for the country’s presidency.
On the other hand, the number of women competing for seats in parliament and the council has increased, and women’s rights activists say that a lot of work is needed when one woman is running for the highest office of the nation.
