OTTAWA —
Somalis living in Canada have asked the government of Somalia to intervene and stop a plan by the Canadian government to deport young Somalis who entered the country illegally.
The youths are said to have entered Canada with invalid documents. They number more than 150 people.
The Somali government said that it could not do anything about this case, saying that people do not enter Canada as Somalis.
