ACCOUNTABILITY FIRST
The President, Prime Minister, and the Speaker of the Lower House MUST be held accountable for the:
1) Egregious violation and abuse of powers and responsibilities bestowed on them by the Constitution. Effectively dismantling the fragile constitutional order on which the 3rd Republic was foundationally built.
2) Unlawful and fraudulent surrender of Somali sovereignty and strategic resources to a foreign power. The bogus and shameful economic, hydrocarbon and maritime pact ratified by the Federal Parliament without seeing a word about its content MUST be revoked.
3) Orgy of industrial scale corruption and plunder, especially the massive public land grab; and the inhumane and violent dispersal and permanent displacement of estimated 200,000 families of the most vulnerable residents in Mogadishu.
These transgressions constitute exercise of power unfettered by law or accountability. This is IMPUNITY on a scale no society could absorb and continue to survive as a coherent, confident and healthy nation.
The President, Prime Minister and the Speaker spectacularly failed to earn the trust of citizens.
They cannot be trusted to save the nation they so methodically and diabolically stripped of sovereignty, agency, assets, and dignity.
