The President of Puntland, Said Abdullahi Deni has condoled the death of a poeter Jama Kadiye Elmi, who was killed in an attack by the Somaliland government forces in the Sool regional center in Lasanood.
President Deni said in a post on his Facebook page that Somaliland will not be spared attacking the capital of Sool region.

CONDOLENCE:
May Allah have mercy on him and take him to heaven, poeter Jama Kediye, one of the people who died today Somaliland bombing in Lasanood District, poeter Jama Kediye is a great pillar of the Puntland nation and the Somali people in general, he was one of the founders of Puntland, he contributed a lot in his literature to peace, governance and development.
I offer my condolences on the death of poet Jama Kediye to the entire Somali community, especially the Puntland community, the people of SSC, the Somali literary community and his family and relatives.
Somaliland’s attacks and killing the role modules and the civilians of the Sool region, shows the hostility of Muse Bihi’s administration towards the people of Sool, and this will not be tolerated.
My condolences to all the people who died in that bombing.
