Garowe: 15 August 2023: The President of the Puntland Government, Mr. Said Abdullahi Deni, issued Presidential Decree No. 42 of 15 August 2023 regarding the Appointment of Members of the Election Committee of the PEC.
The President of the Puntland Government
When he saw: Article 113, paragraph 1, letter (t) of the Puntland Government Constitution
When he saw: Their knowledge, skills and work experience.
When he saw: The need for the establishment of the Puntland Electoral Commission (PEC)
When He Consulted: The Vice President of the Puntland Government
He decreed:
1. The members mentioned below have been appointed to the Puntland Electoral Commission (PEC).
1.1. Abdullahi Said Ismail (Keyton)
1.2. Mohamed Abshir Garad
1.3. Mohamud Soofe Hassan
2. This law will come into effect when the President signs it, and he signed it.
