Dear Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Puntland and Puntland State Government,
I would like to bring to your attention the situation of the students from Las-Anod who are currently preparing for their final exams in grades 8 and 12. Given the challenges they have faced; I strongly suggest that special consideration be given to these students during the examination process.
In our world today, unfortunate circumstances such as wars, health conditions, or other disasters can significantly impact the lives of individuals. When students find themselves in such dire situations, it is crucial to provide them with support and understanding. I propose that a separate grading system be established for these students, allowing for additional support and consideration when evaluating their performance. By supplementing their exam results, we can ensure that they are not unfairly disadvantaged compared to other students who did not experience similar challenges and were able to study in a secure environment.
I sincerely hope that this message reaches those who have the authority to make decisions regarding these students’ examinations. By providing them with the necessary support, we can ensure that their efforts and abilities are recognized fairly and that they have an equal opportunity to succeed.
