Acting President of the Puntland Government and the Vice President of the Government, Mr. Ahmed Ilmi Osman Karaash, today chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers, which this week discussed public security, the events of the week, the sitting of local councils in Puntland districts and amendments to the media law.
The Council of Ministers approved by a majority vote the amendments to the Puntland Media Act, which included chapters on Social Media, Awareness and Advertising and the amendments made to the Media Act will be forwarded to the House of Representatives of the Puntland Government.
