The politically motivated splinter map released yesterday by the Ministry of Petroleum was a miscalculated poorly drafted Map with the intention to stifle Mudug Communities. This is similar to Hassan’s statement that “PL could collapse in 24 days”.
It is a sign of the continuation of Hassan’s wishful thinking undermining the Mudug region and PL state. We all remember that Hassan’s first term of 2012-2016 communities of Mudug region faced two deadly civil wars within Galkacyo. However, these communities have grown and cemented deeply rooted reconciliations.

Is to trick the Turks and other investors that disputed regions which Block 130 is possibly included to remain under FGS. The truth is North Mudug is the location where Gara’ad port is built under local initiative and the known resilience of Mudug people.In the past 30 years in Somalia, there has been an inter-tribal conflict that has led to conflict, and now, a tribal energy conflict has begun, which is being fought by foreign governments.
Most of the oil in the Indian Ocean has been found in the PL Area with estimated reserves of billions estimate.
The successive administrations led by PL, have refused to allow Villa Somalia to use their resources and exploit them.
Mudug is a sensitive region prone for civil conflicts, and if the energy dispute becomes a base for Somalia again, it may bring into a new conflict.
HSM should be warned that sowing a new conflict in Mudug will flame entire region.
