May Allaah have mercy on the great Somali artist, Ahmed Naji Saad, died in London, England. The late Naaji is remembered for his patriotic songs and prayers for the country.
The president of FGS Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has condoled the death of artist Ahmed Naji, pointing out that the deceased had a great role in Somali art, he played a major role in the promotion of Somali art, literature and culture and he was one of his pillars.
“We owe it to Allaah. We owe it to Allaah. We send our deepest condolences to the family, relatives and the entire Somali nation who passed away the late Ahmed Naji Sa’ad, who had a name and weight in the art community and the Somali people in general.
